September 2 - Labour Day

Hard to believe it’s September & today marks the unofficial end of summer. Kids go back to school tomorrow & I’m off to Fort McMurray for a board meeting. Wow, what an epic summer! We finished up in Tumble Creek & Suncadia with several rounds of golf and on these last ones we were joined by the elk and deer. They’re feeling the freshness of the fall air and enjoying the berries and tender greens on the lower levels of the mountains. We enjoyed a brief stopover in Seattle with the kids on our way to the next adventure. Debb spent time with her Mom and Bobby in Vancouver while I’m in Fort McMurray. On Wednesday we start the next chapter of our journey with a flight to Paris followed by a barge cruise on the Canal du Midi, then a villa visit in St. Tropez with friends from Dallas and Seattle. Time is flying! Enjoy the dog days of summer, friends.

That deer doesn’t seem to concerned with Debb’s drive!

The elk weren’t too concerned either. It bothered Debb more that an errant drive could injure that little lady

Love the elk wandering the course

Seattle time at Mark’s with Jenni & Chris is always fun!
