Oct. 3 - Milos 🇬🇷

Another lazy day. There aren’t many of these left before we head home to Palm Springs. The sun hung lower in the sky today, and the morning marine layer took lonager to burn off. We decided to head to our favourite beach today and simply hang out in our favourite sun beds and read. I finished off «Where the crawdads sing » by Delia Owens and Debb polished off  »The quiet game » by Greg Iles. It’s a luxury to be able to sit on the beach and take the time to read. Afterwards we retreated to our hotel villa for a game of cribbage, a cocktail then later went to dinner. The perfect day!

The morning light is stunning despite the cumulus clouds that drift slowly by

Morning thunder clouds and rain over the Chora make for a later start to our day

After the storm clouds moved on so did we....down to the sun loungers on the beach to read and relax

The beach is deserted, but the water is the warmest it’s been all summer

The view from our lazy perch. Blissful!

In the late afternoon as the sun goes low, the sailboats and catamarans come into the caldera to seek shelter for the night
