Today we jumped on a short Horizon Air flight to Vancouver to catch WestJet to Gatwick and connect with EasyJet to Venice. A long day of travel but the prize at the end was well worth it. The WestJet B787 flight was sold to over 95% load factor and it was great to see full planes again on international missions. The service was great and the crew was happy to be back on these long haul flights after more than 2 years. After a 9 hour leg we landed on time in London and made our way to the EasyJet connection to Italy. Gatwick is superb for making easy connections and before we knew it we were at our destination. Tomorrow we set sail for Croatia.
