June 9 - The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow!

Like Annie sang:

“The sun’ll come out

Tomorrow

Bet your bottom dollar

That tomorrow

There’ll Be sun!”

She was right. We were beginning to wonder if summer would arrive in the Pacific Northwest before we have to depart it. As the clouds and rain gave way to golden sunshine, everything just seemed better. A walk to Starbucks, a sit on the dock, even some chilled nectar of the gods! No better way to celebrate life than with Dom Pérignon! Debb picked the fresh strawberries growing in front of the house down by the water, and we sipped our sparkly while challenging each other to the best game of cribbage ever played. The doctor ordered “rest and relaxation” .....guess we’re just following her orders.

Post the stretching and planking workout on the dock. Have to work off the excess from playing “walrus” these past few days!

Sunshine, clear water, green hillsides, cool but sunny weather. Coeur d’Alene is beautiful.
