Our last day 😢 Started with a quick trip into the village for a cafe au lait & to pick up some fresh croissants and baguette for breakfast. The toiling hands of Beaumes de Venise with grapes makes a great photo op with our Villa and the Chapel in the background. The skies cleared and we enjoyed a final day with sunshine and 30 degrees by the pool. After dinner we caught the music festival in the village. So good to see the very young kids (3-10 years old) dancing and grooving to the beat, no masks, just like old times). Tomorrow we drive to Marseille (about 90 minutes) for a short 1 hour flight to Paris then connect to our nonstop WestJet flight to Calgary with connections to Seattle. It’s been a great 2 weeks!
