A day close to home. We started with a tour of the Chapel of Our Lady of Aubune which is perched above our Villa & only open for tours on Thursdays. Built in the 1500’s it’s hard to believe that it’s more than 520 years old! The Celts were here first, then the Greeks followed by the Romans. The Romans built an underground aqueduct that carries water 1.4 Km to the centre of town in tunnels that still deliver water today. I’m the afternoon we enjoyed a wine tasting at the Domaine de Coyeux which offers spectacular views over the local mountains and countryside. At dinner we ventured out to côté vignes for a beautiful and typical Provençal meal Al fresco. Another great day.
