July 8 - On the road from Slovakia to Warsaw, Poland 🇵🇱

Hit the highway, or should I say the parking lot, for a 7 hour drive from Strebke Pleso, Slovakia to Warsaw, Poland. The Polish highway system is severely undersized for the number of cars in the country. The booming Polish economy has created new wealth and most Poles now own cars. This wasn’t the case years ago. But the new-found wealth is severely stressing the infrastructure and there are road construction projects everywhere. All highways are 2 lanes and with the huge number of trucks on the road, travel by car has become a nightmare! Next time we’ll fly between domestic points!
