A day of rest. Today we decided to stay home and enjoy the day by the pool at the villa. After being so active, visiting villages, watching the Tour de France, tasting wine, we decided it was a day to do NOTHING! So relaxing. Especially when the day is accompanied by some beautiful rose wines that we’ve collected along the way. It was a hot one today with the mercury reaching 39 degrees. In Paris it went to 43 degrees! Better to spend it around a pool in Provence than to be walking on the Champs Élysées! Tonight we had dinner at Di Vin Secret, and sat outside in the courtyard. Debb had lamb loin aux herbes de Provence and I had a lobster casollet with vegetables from Provence. They were both exquisite. Another great day.
