The meltemi winds are howling again today so we found another protected cove to hang out at. Monastiri beach is a small rocky bay on the northern side of Paros. Plenty of fishing boats and yachts moor here especially when the meltemi winds blow. The beach is a beautiful one with plenty of sun beds, and one of the most beautiful tavernas I’ve ever seen. It was a great spot for lunch, the food was amazing, the rose wine was cold & the music ethereal. After lunch we had a great swim, caught a few rays then found the best winery in Paros for a little wine tasting. The Moraitis Winery is a 4th generation winery in Paros with several award winning wines so we stocked up then headed home to the villa for a swim and happy hour. Opa!
