We are two days at sea, sailing from El Salvador to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The Pacific is calm, the skies are clear and it’s a perfect 28 degrees Celsius (84 Fahrenheit). But best of all, today is my milestone 60th birthday. Cruising with my girl Debb and some friends we’ve met along the way. Today is a day of relaxation, chilling by the pook with a couple of caipirinhas (Brazilian drink with sugar cane alcohol called cachaca & lime juice served on ice), and a great deep muscle massage. Tonight we ate at the Brazilian BBQ called Churrascaria then finished up at the sing-along pub, very much like the one in King’s Alley in Waikiki. It was a blast and a great way to ring in a new decade. Slumped into bed at 02:00!!
